Jiangsu Local Legislation Research Base of Southeast University and Cybersecurity Rule of Law Research Centre of Southeast University were successfully selected as the source think tanks of China Think Tank Index (CTTI).

 From 29th November to 1st December 2024, the ‘2024 New Think Tank Governance Forum’, co-hosted by Nanjing University and Lanzhou University, was held in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province. The meeting released the list of additional CTTI source think tanks in 2024, and the Research Base of Local Legislation in Jiangsu Province of Southeast University and the Research Centre of Cybersecurity and Rule of Law of Southeast University of Southeast China were successfully added as the source think tanks of ‘China Think Tank Index’ (CTTI).


It is reported that China Think Tank Index (CTTI) is China's first vertical search engine and data management platform for think tanks, which is developed by the China Think Tank Research and Evaluation Centre of Nanjing University and the Guangming Daily Think Tank Research and Publishing Centre, with the aim of providing authentic and high-quality information on think tanks and rigorous expert information for China's party and government institutions, academics, the media and the public. Institutional information and rigorous expert information for China's party and government institutions, academia and the media, and the public, and to provide a powerful data management platform for promoting the construction of China's new type of think tanks, realising the online collection, organisation, preservation, analysis and utilisation of various types of data of think tanks and providing data support for the evaluation and assessment of China's think tanks. 2024 CTTI Source Think Tanks Supplementation provides a comprehensive overview of the indicators for think tanks in terms of their infrastructural construction, topics and projects, decision-making and consulting, theoretical innovation and public opinion guidance, internal governance, personality characteristics and so on. The 2024 CTTI Source Think Tank Addition exercise has set higher requirements for think tanks in terms of infrastructure, topics and projects, decision-making consultation, theoretical innovation and public opinion guidance, internal governance, personality characteristics, etc. A total of 264 applications have been received for this addition, and 118 think tanks have been finalised for addition after screening and reviewing and evaluation by the expert group, with a selection rate of 45%.
